Location: Private Hospital, West London

We are currently searching for an experienced ICU Pharmacist to join a private hospital based in West London. If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact in a supportive and dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Job Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP - Feb 2025
  • End Date: Estimated May 2025 (Very likely to continue, depending on service requirements)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full time (09:00 to 17:30)
  • Location: Private Hospital, West London
  • Band: 7 or Band 8+ (Subject to CV review)

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Hospital experience is essential
  • Prior ICU experience is required
  • Ability to manage ICU areas and provide expert pharmaceutical care

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services to the Adult ITU and support other areas such as surgery when needed.
  • Use your specialist pharmacy knowledge to manage, monitor, and review drug therapies for patients.
  • Provide a comprehensive pharmaceutical service including prescription monitoring, drug information, evidence-based practice, and patient counselling.
  • Promote pharmacy’s active involvement within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in ward rounds, influence prescribers, and recommend appropriate treatment changes.
  • Assist with monitoring and implementing drug clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Coordinate all aspects of pharmacy input to adult intensive care prescribing.
