Job Title: IFA Administrator
Job Description:
Financial planning firm seeking an experienced, full-time IFA Administrator to join its team. The role offers a hybrid working environment, requiring three days in the office and two days remote. Office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with initial flexibility for training and onboarding.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have experience working as an IFA/ Wealth administrator within an IFA firm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Gathering data and preparing client valuations as required.

Liaising with product providers to obtain plan information, illustrations, and other necessary details.

Supporting the team in gathering information for reports, including research, cashflow modelling, risk assessment, and charges information.

Adding new clients to the back-office system, including sensitive data consents, marketing consents, client agreements, AML verification, and inputting risk assessments.

Monitoring and progressing client transfers with product providers.

Ensuring client data and files are maintained, up to date, complete, compliant, and correctly filed.

Submitting and completing new business processes, including post-business actions.

Supporting meeting preparation as required.

Managing follow-ups, ensuring timely responses, and tracking tasks to completion.

Drafting letters related to top-ups, withdrawals, lump sums, and premium changes for clients.

Handling fund switches and rebalancing, including tracking and drafting fund switch letters.

Managing tax year-end actions such as Bed & ISA, pension top-ups, withdrawals, and CGT calculations.

Requesting and instructing drawdown quotes.

Conducting fund performance comparisons using analytical tools.

Liaising with clients to ensure service needs are met within designated timescales.

Arranging client meetings and preparing meeting packs for advisers.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per year
