Conduct Manager (Contract)We are looking for a Contract Conduct Manager to join our growing Compliance Team. This role will primarily focus on upgrading our processes to integrate consumer business into existing portfolio, while ensuring full compliance with Lloyd's and FCA regulations.As a key member of the Compliance Team, you will work closely with the Group Head of Compliance to enhance the conduct risk framework, ensuring it covers the evolving consumer business, leveraging Lloyd’s capacity, and adhering to regulatory standards. The role offers considerable autonomy and presents an opportunity to influence how we manage compliance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance the Conduct Risk Framework to cover consumer business, ensuring that robust assessments are made to evaluate the effectiveness of conduct risk management practices.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with staff and third parties to design and document revised processes aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Risk Advice & Guidance: Provide expert advice on the systems and controls necessary to ensure good outcomes for consumers using Lloyd's capacity.
  • Training & Development: Create and deliver training programs to help the business understand and implement the revised conduct risk framework.
  • Reporting: Support the redesign of Conduct or Product Governance (POG) reports, including Conduct MI to be reported to the Board.
  • Regulatory Interaction: Serve as a key point of contact for regulators and third-party legal counsel when needed.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
  • Conduct Risk Experience: Proven track record of working with consumer business and applying conduct risk management practices within Lloyd's.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Lloyd’s, FCA, and intermediary and insurer regulatory requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Strong team player with the ability to build consensus and foster constructive relationships across departments.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to develop practical, commercially viable solutions to complex regulatory issues.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to juggle multiple priorities and handle a varied workload efficiently.
