Interim File Reviewer

Grant Thornton’s Agile Talent Community is a network of contract professionals, giving you the opportunity to work with our clients alongside Grant Thornton teams on a project-by-project basis whilst being supported by our dedicated Agile Talent team. You can choose to work with Grant Thornton as an Independent Consultant either through your own limited company or on inside IR35 terms.

The Regulatory team, part of Financial Services group (FSG), advises firms of all sizes from right across the financial services industry, on all aspects of UK regulation and how the rules and guidance apply to them. Joining the Agile Talent Community as an Interim File Reviewer, you will have the freedom to work on projects that you choose, whether full or part-time within Regulatory team and support our clients and internal teams on short to medium-term assignments.

• Experience in reviewing client files for compliance, accuracy, and adherence to service standards within Financial Services sector.
• The ability to thoroughly review and assess client files, identifying discrepancies and ensuring that all elements of the service provided align with the client agreement and regulatory requirements.
• The capacity to interpret complex client files, analyse service delivery, and assess whether the advice provided is consistent with agreed terms and meets regulatory standards.
• A strong understanding of relevant regulatory standards, such as FCA rules, COBS (Conduct of Business Sourcebook), and client agreement requirements.
• The ability to clearly communicate findings, whether in reports or discussions with colleagues.
• Effective management of time and tasks to handle multiple client files efficiently, ensuring all reviews are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
