Interim Test Lead

Location: Remote (South East, UK-based)Rate: £500 per day (Outside IR35)Contract Duration: 3 months +

We are seeking an experienced Tester to join a London Borough’s. You will play a key role in the testing and rollout of innovative solutions, including Voice, AI, and Telephony systems, in a structured Agile environment. This is a greenfield opportunity where you will establish testing frameworks from scratch while contributing to other cutting-edge projects such as Direct Debit as a Service, CRM, and AI pilot projects.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans for Voice, AI, and Telephony systems, focusing on incoming call processes and service area rollouts.
• Set up and maintain a testing environment in a greenfield environment.
• Agile working to support sprints (currently in the second sprint).
• Test technology solutions including Blue Prism and conversation process automation tools.
• Ensure quality and consistency in testing deliverables across multiple projects.
• Support additional projects such as CRM integration and AI pilots.
• Document and track defects using JIRA and Confluence.

• Proven experience with test methodologies and hands-on testing in Agile environments.
• Expertise with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Demonstrable ability to set up and execute greenfield testing environments.
• Experience with Blue Prism and similar automation technologies.
• Familiarity with conversation process automation and telephony testing.
• Understanding of local government operations and project environments.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project needs and work collaboratively across teams.
• Knowledge of AI and CRM technologies.
