A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join the Private Dining & Events Kitchen at one of Londons most prestigious five-star hotels. This is an exciting chance to be part of a high-performing team, delivering exceptional dining experiences for exclusive events and private functions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing all aspects of food production for private dining and events within the hotel.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Senior Sous Chef to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and service.
  • Oversee the preparation of regular menu items, daily specials, and bespoke event dishes.
  • Maintain strict quality control on all food deliveries, liaising with the purchasing team to ensure excellence in every ingredient.
  • Lead and motivate the brigade, providing support and setting a strong example.
  • Ensure all hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards are upheld in accordance with hotel regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, holiday, sickness, and overtime, ensuring efficient workforce management.

About You
  • Previous experience in a Junior Sous Chef role within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
  • A strong passion for high-end private dining and event catering.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding food quality.
