KS1 Teacher with QTS

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a vibrant and dynamic primary school in Lambeth. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching young children, have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, and be committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils. -
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs and abilities of all students.
- Manage classroom behavior in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support pupil development and well-being.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- A clear DBS check.
Desirable:
- Experience in a similar role within a diverse and multicultural school setting.
- Additional qualifications or training relevant to primary education.
- Experience using modern educational technology in the classroom.
