THE ROLE
The role involves a mix of work with dbt and reporting (30%, focused on maintaining data models) and advanced analytics (70%), including tasks like scheduling, predictive modelling, and exploratory analysis. An example project might be investigating cost increases, such as understanding if rider costs rose due to factors like rain-related pay adjustments. The Director of Operations assigns some projects, while others are self-initiated.
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
- Strong SQL - you must be confident with window functions
- Examples of experience where you have used insights to drive impact in a business must be on your CV
- Tech: Snowflake, Looker (or equivalent BI tool), dbt
- Both commercial and technical experience
