Lead DevOps Engineer (Linux Windows Kubernetes) London / WFH to £75k

Are you a senior DevOps Engineer looking to progress your career with more leadership responsibilities?

You could be working on cutting edge security / encryption products in a friendly and informal environment at a successful software house that provide cyber security products to a range of finance, government, defence, law enforcement and pharmaceutical companies, in a senior hands-on role.

As the Lead DevOps Engineer you will collaborate across the wider engineering team to improve integration and release processes, developing and improving CI/CD pipelines and implementing technical solutions to support core product development and deployment. You'll provide technical leadership / direction to a small team including mentoring.

Location / WFH:

You'll be joining an international team, working in a relaxed software house environment (i.e. non-corporate, casual dress, table football), in Central London offices with flexible hybrid working (1-3 days a week in the office).

About you:

  • You have a strong systems administration background with Linux (including bash scripting) and also have a good knowledge of Windows and Active Directory (including PowerShell scripting) and basic networking
  • You have experience with containerisation, Kubernetes or Docker
  • You have experience of administering CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, version control systems like GIT, JIRA, Trivy, SonarQube and Nexus
  • You have Python scripting / coding skills
  • You have technical leadership and mentoring experience
  • Please note: You must have SC Clearance (or ability to achieve it - i.e. you must be a British citizen with the past 5 years continually based in the UK) due to the nature of the project / client
