I am representing a client that operates in the research space, helping traders/brokers make better decisions with their investments. Their Head of Engineering is looking to add to the team, bringing in a Frontend Engineer to help promote new features of their platform.
THE COMPANY:This business supports 100+ clients that have signed up to their platform to understand the nuances in the finance markets to they have become a trusted source of reliable data. The company are looking to broaden the scope of what information their platform provides, using AI and have recently developed a mobile application which won awards for their content creation. The Engineering team is constantly growing given the added features to new products hence the existence of this role.
THE ROLE:You will be joining a broader team of Engineers but you'll be going in as the Lead Frontend Engineer to own the requirements of new features to implement into the platform. You will be part of the architecture/design process before implementation. You will be mentoring other Engineers, supporting Full Stacks with the Frontend aspect of their role. You will drive best practices within the team and report to the Head of department to ensure standards are established.
THE SKILLS:The ideal Frontend Engineer will have:
- Strong experience using Svelte or Typescript
- Worked in scale up organisations to showcase the ability to work in fast paced environments
- Desirably managed high performing teams before
