Lead Golang Engineer - Startup Up to £130k + EquityLondon (Hybrid - In office 2 days a week)

Responsibilities for the Lead Golang Engineer:
- Develop and maintain the modelling service, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with the CTO to shape technical strategies and make architectural decisions.
- Lead and mentor a team of Golang engineers, fostering a culture of quality and best practices.
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to ensure reliable software solutions.
- Work in an agile environment, deploying frequently through BitBucket pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data pipelines, web application, and AWS infrastructure.
To be the ideal candidate, you should have experience in Golang development along with the following:
- Strong understanding of TDD, clean code, and SOLID principles.
- Proficiency in Postgres, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with CQRS, profiling, interpreters, parsing expression grammars (PEG), and WebSockets.
- AWS experience and knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana, Jaeger, and Prometheus.
- Previous experience in hiring and managing technical teams.
