Lead iOS Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Are you a seasoned SDET with a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional mobile applications? Our client is seeking a Lead iOS SDET to oversee testing strategies, mentor team members, and drive automation excellence for their cutting-edge native mobile applications.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a small team of SDETs, managing performance and hiring.
  • Drive testing strategies with a focus on shift-left principles and automation best practices.
  • Design and build advanced automation frameworks, tools, and comprehensive tests (component, UI journey, end-to-end).
  • Collaborate with developers to design contract tests and improve test coverage.
  • Participate in agile planning, code reviews, and test execution to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Propose and implement improvements to testing processes and shared libraries.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of test development experience, including 2+ years leading a team.
  • Expertise in Swift, XCUITest, and agile testing practices.
  • Strong understanding of the iOS ecosystem and cross-browser testing.
  • Experience with contract testing (e.g., PACT), RESTful APIs, Jenkins, or Appium is a plus.
  • A proactive leader with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for quality.
