As a Lead Perl developer you will be responsible for developing new applications and systems using Perl as well as maintaining and enhancing the existing infrastructure. You will work closely with other members of the development team in the deployment of large-scale web initiatives. The role requires solid web development skills, confidence, teamwork and innovative thinking to build web applications that optimize business processes and directly impact the bottom line.

Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years experience in Perl Development; with a working knowledge of the following web development stack: HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache, MySQL
Extensive experience with OO Perl
Proficient with building/managing relational databases (MySQL)
Knowledge of web security and best practices
Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
Good analytical abilities and the ability to apply findings to projects
Professional presentation, training and internal client facing skills
Excellent written and verbal skills
