We are currently looking for a Lead Python Engineer for a leading global supply chain solutions provider, specialising in logistics services for the life sciences and healthcare industries, including the handling of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other regulated products.
Essential experience required for the Lead Python Engineer role:
- 5+ years experience engineering solutions with Python
- 5+ years experience within Azure Cloud infrastructure
- Expertise within complex systems and infrastructures
- Agile mindset & XP development techniques: pair programming, TDD, BDD, CI/CD, evolutionary system architecture, refactoring (at multiple levels)
- Proven track record of creating software systems through object-oriented and event-driven design methodologies
- Azure DevOps management experience for managing development, deployment, etc.
- Automation skills, including testing
To be successful in this Lead Python Engineer role, you will need to be an innovator who searches and promotes ideas for ways to enhance both processes and technology, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
The package on offer for the Lead Python Engineer is a base salary of up to £85,000 with an annual bonus dependent on level of experience, and a fully remote working set up.
