Lead Typescript Engineer

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this role as Lead Typescript Engineer offers an engaging and challenging atmosphere, perfect for those who thrive on solving complex problems and pushing the boundaries of technology. Our client is looking for someone to stay at the forefront of technology by prototyping new tools and influencing their adoption within the company. Collaboration is key: the team and key stakeholders - you will need to partner with end-users and support staff to translate needs into intuitive designs, ensuring your work has a direct impact. With a sophisticated tech stack, including Typescript, React, .NET core, and more, you will be building and maintaining a real-time web UI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using Typescript and React you and your team will design, develop, and maintain features for a real-time web UI
  • Agile delivery process supported by automated tests.
  • Continuous Integration tooling, participating in the maintenance and improvement of these processes
  • Intuitive designs, created from collaborations with end-users and support staff.
  • Passion for learning, keeping up to date with the JavaScript /TypeScript ecosystem.About You:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' professional development experience, with expert TypeScript experience
  • Technical Skills: Strong React, Familiarity with Webpack, .NET, SignalR, Rx, and Google.Protobuf is advantageous.
  • Background: A background in finance, particularly with FX/IR derivatives, would be beneficial.
  • Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact directly with end-users.
