Learning Behaviour Assistant | The role:
  • Assist with the provision of support for an individual student with social, emotional and/or behaviour difficulties, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Develop 1:1 mentoring relationship with identified pupil.
  • Work alongside teachers and SLT to promote the effective use of behaviour management strategies.
  • To act as a motivator, role model and advocate for young people.
  • Pay of up to £95 per day via PAYE (weekly pay).
Learning Behaviour Assistant | Do you qualify?
  • Must have previous experience with children who have additional learning needs in a school setting.
  • Degree educated, with a minimum of a 2:1.
  • Confident dealing with resistant behaviour.
  • Strong communication skills and patience.
This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to get into Psychology, and looking to further their experience with children who display SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs and/or resistant behaviour as a Learning Behaviour Assistant.
