One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Leasehold Officeron a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.

Overview:

  • Delivery of a quality, front line, customer focused service providing advice, support and assistance to leaseholders and officers in ensuring compliance with lease covenants.
  • To ensure advice and information publications for leaseholders maintained and developed to provide accurate information.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide accurate and timely advice and assistance to leaseholders and officers in understanding lease provisions.
  • To advise officers on policy and procedure around forced entry to leasehold properties.
  • To provide support and advice to officers in dealing with issues arising out of lease breaches and disputes over service provision.
  • To take the lead role in all cases where escalation is required to resolve breaches of leases.
  • To attend court or any other relevant body in connection with action taken to remedy lease breaches as required and represent the organisation at such hearings.
