A London market MGA is recruiting for a Legacy IBA Accounts Technician to support their Head of IBA. Initially on a six-month fixed term contract basis but with the potential to develop into a more permanent position.In this role the successful applicant will be expected to lead the clear up of legacy IBA issues by reviewing prior paid bordereaux to resolve any queries with respective binder brokers, investigating legacy cash, working with the wider Underwriting and claims teams to provide resolutions, producing paid premium bordereaux, with correct premiums, required tax and country splits, obtaining agreement from respective binder brokers to agree payments, work with brokers to clear any outstanding payment issues, allocating receipts and payments posted, reviewing, monitoring and providing updates on progress to management, and assisting with any other tasks as required.Applicants must have previous IBA experience, ideally gained with an MGA or Lloyd's broker, be able to produce a bordereaux, have knowledge of debtors/creditors, and be competent using Excel e.g. pivot tables, Vlook ups etc.
