About the Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated and friendly team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of care and safeguarding at all times.
Working Hours & Holidays
Shifts between 8am and 6pm, totalling 42 hours per week.
The nursery operates 50 weeks of the year, with closures for 1 week in summer and 1 week at Christmas to ensure work-life balance. Plus annual leave.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education or Childcare.
- Experience working in a nursery or similar early years setting.
- A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, proactive attitude.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
