Level 3 Qualified Practitioner - Westminster - Immediate Start

We are partnering with a wonderful nursery school in Islington to find a new L3 Early Years Practitioner for their team, with the goal of starting on a permanent basis as soon as possible. This nursery provides a bright and open-plan environment where children can thrive and grow, along with outstanding opportunities for training and skill development. This position is term time only.

The Role As a Level 3 practitioner in this supportive and inclusive atmosphere, you will be responsible for assisting children aged 0 to 5 years. Your duties will include creating a safe and enriching educational environment. A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is crucial.Additionally, this position allows you to creatively employ resources to inspire and elevate the children's learning experiences.

The ideal candidate

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices
  • Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
