About the Role:
Hunter AHP is currently seeking a Locum Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join a reputable NHS hospital in London. The ideal candidate will have previous aseptic experience and a commitment to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense aseptic products, including chemotherapy and other sterile medications.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic preparation standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Support the aseptic services team in maintaining the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of sterile preparations.
- Conduct regular quality control checks and participate in audits and training.
- Provide support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with aseptic preparation queries.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following strict health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous aseptic pharmacy technician experience is essential.
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- GPhC registration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict aseptic procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexible availability to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week.
