MAC, PC & AV Support Technician paying upto 50k required by an expanding Creative Marketing Agency based in Central London, close to Old Street Station, They work with some amazing brands in the Gaming, Entertainment and Retail industry. This is an office based role. This is no ordinary role, lots of different emerging technology including AI Machine Learning that will need to be embraced adopted and championed. The department consists of 5 people, who each have an area of specialism, and all are passionate about technology and all enjoy being hands on helping individual users and the business as a whole.
The company has an amazing 3D Creative division and any previous commercial or non commercial experience would be beneficial as well as experience of working in companies associated with film production The successful PC & MAC Technician will report to the Group IT Director.
You will also be working directly with the HR team, ensuring that any new starters within the company have the correct equipment, installing any new systems that are needed and upgrading current workstations. You will also work as the Lead Technician on the up-and-coming projects, including the rollout of a support desk ticketing system to improve workflows and improve SLAs.
This role will probably suit someone who has worked on the creative side of marketing and media companies previously who has become a techy and moved into IT Support.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong PC MAC Support Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong AV technology knowledge
- 3D Software and rendering tools, such as Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D,
- configuring MAC and Windows machines
- Experience dealing with VPN's
- Experience with Jamf or similar MDM Software including Intune
- An understanding of plugin licensing and installations for the creative sector
