Here at Fresh we are looking for 2 x Maintenance Technicians to join our student accommodation development,  Pavilion Court in Wembley. The role offers full time working hours of 37.5 hours per week, working between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday on a rota basis. 

As Maintenance Technician you will take accountability for minor reactive repairs and carrying out planned maintenance works. A large part of the work involves painting and keeping the building looking fresh and tidy as well as plumbing duties including changing toilet valves and general bathroom repairs. 

You’ll also need to be competent with minor electrical maintenance as you’ll be responsible for the installation of white goods, carrying out visual PAT testing, changing plugs and fuses, emergency lighting checks and replacing lamps and light ballasts as well as assisting residents with white good issues for example power to hobs/ovens. 

About you:

As we work in our residents’ living spaces, you’ll need to be a good communicator who always demonstrates professionalism and can ensure discretion and diplomacy when needed, including maintaining confidentiality with regards recording sensitive information.

We’re looking for an individual who is confident in their ability to undertake general maintenance works, both planned and reactive and can adapt to different situations whilst maintaining professionalism. Work is scheduled and recorded so you'll need good IT skills and be able to manage your own workload.

Please note that all successful candidates will be required to undergo a Basic DBS check. If you are already registered on the DBS Update Service, this can be used as part of the process.
