Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist! In this role, you will operate various manual machines, including lathes and mills, to produce and repair precision parts. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for working with mechanical components, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision parts.
  • Perform Centre Lathe Turning.
  • Use metrology equipment.
  • Carry out thermal spraying and welding (training provided).

Key Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent mechanical skills with great coordination.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a focus on safety.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Maths.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recognised apprenticeship or vocational training in machining or a related field.
  • Experience with machine tools or mechanical assemblies.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols in a workshop environment.
