About the Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the learning journey of young children, helping them develop the foundational skills needed for their future learning.
This position is offered as maternity cover, so the duration is for a fixed term, with the possibility of further opportunities within the school or Milk Education. The school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking, and passionate about providing the best possible education for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Support and develop students both academically and socially.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, maintaining clear communication about their child’s progress.
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Ideal Candidate:
To be considered for this role, you will ideally:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching in KS1, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and child development.
