Shift Pattern: Days only shift 4 on 4 off 

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Critical Services Shift Technician (Electrical) for a well establish client site in Bank. The site would be in a building populated by a mixture of financial service providers and Law firms so good presentation would be a must.

This role involves working on critical electrical systems, ensuring high standards of maintenance, and supporting operational continuity, the role with invlove working to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern consisting of days on 7AM - 7PM 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance services to meet required standards and specifications.
  • Respond to customer requests in line with agreed service levels.
  • Participate in shift operations and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Act as Performing Authority for Permit Control and a competent person for risk assessments.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, and lighting.
  • Monitor critical infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Minimize downtime by resolving electrical faults efficiently.
  • Assist in small new installation projects and minor repairs.
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records in the CMMS system.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Experience in a critical or high-security environment (e.g., data centers, financial institutions).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and building services.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and willing to work occasional overtime.
  • HVAP (desired not not essential)
