Media Planner - Factual Entertainment
CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading Media organisation - specifically their Factual Entertainment division - to hire a Media Planner for an initial duration of 3 months. Working in the Media Planning team responsible for creating, developing and tracking all on-air promotional campaigns for UK & EMEA channel feeds, the Media Planner will work cross-functionally with Presentation, Programming & Creative teams to ensure all campaigns are accurate and cohesive across all platforms. They will also work in collaboration with the Owned Media and the AdSales team on sponsorship and company initiatives.
Role Responsibilities
* Plan all versions and dates for all EMEA Campaigns, considering campaign priority, scheduling strategy, and individual territory requirements.
* Manage all campaigns and presentation events in M360, for all territories. Ensuring accuracy of information, and visibility to production and presentation teams upon publishing.
* Create and Export monthly lists for EMEA to allow for check and approval of all campaigns prior to publishing.
* Create the Monthly list for production, and input all data accurately ensure content and metadata matches.
* Input and maintain all campaigns and presentation events in BSS and assign series linking
* Generate all Version IDs and assign before publishing to production, and ensure alignment with list
* Create and maintain the UK Commissioning Grid, ensuring it is always up to date with any amendments.
* Prepare and present monthly commissioning meetings, to inform and excite other departments on upcoming campaigns.
* Attend all Production meetings and track campaign progress
* Pull all weekly promo data and compile a weekly report on campaign tracking and effectiveness
* Manage the VOD promo process and external promo relationships
Required Skills & Experience
* Passion for and knowledge of factual entertainment
* Experience within a broadcast environment, preferably Media Planning or Presentation
* Highly organised, with an attention to detail
* Good communicator, ability to present and interact with numerous departments and levels.
* Works well under pressure and can multi-task.
* Computer literate and experience with Broadcast systems, preferably BSS
* Proactive, with the ability to use your initiative.
* Positive can-do attitude, with a willingness and interest to learn
