- Provide first aid and emergency medical treatment to students and staff as required.
- Monitor and manage the care of students with ongoing medical needs (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and healthcare professionals to ensure the health and wellbeing of students.
- Assist in the development and delivery of health-related education and initiatives in the school.
- Maintain and regularly check first aid kits and medical supplies.
- Work closely with the school's pastoral and safeguarding teams to support students with additional health or emotional needs.
- A valid First Aid at Work certificate is compulsory.
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare role, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- A strong understanding of child safeguarding and health and safety policies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- The ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- A caring and empathetic approach to supporting young people.
