As an MEP BIM Technician/Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of building design. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed 2D and 3D engineering models and drawings using cutting-edge software like AutoCAD and Revit, as well as handling clash detection and model coordination. You'll collaborate with Revit technicians, BIM Managers, and engineers to solve 3D environment challenges and contribute to the overall development of the team.
In addition to supporting the BIM technology needs of our clients Leeds office and national team, you'll also mentor new starters and graduates, helping them master Revit. You'll be part of a team that takes a fresh approach to MEP service design, getting involved from the early stages of construction, working closely with the design team, offering guidance, and helping clients make informed decisions with your expertise.
MEP BIM Technician/Coordinator Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Autodesk software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- A passion for digital engineering, building information modeling, and innovation.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and how to effectively route and coordinate services.
