About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and fully qualified MFL Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community in North London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential in languages. The role involves teaching French and/or Spanish to students across a range of abilities, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in French and/or Spanish
- Differentiate teaching methods to suit a range of learning abilities
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the MFL curriculum
- Support extracurricular activities, including language clubs and trips (optional)
Key Requirements:
- Fully qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish
- Proven track record of successful teaching at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Passion for language learning and teaching
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
