An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Midday Meal Supervisor to join a school in Lambeth, supporting their SEN unit. This role involves working with primary-aged children with Autism during lunchtime hours, ensuring a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment for all.
Midday Meal Supervisor - Role Details:
- Position: Midday Meal Supervisor
- Location: Lambeth, within a dedicated Primary SEN unit.
- Timings: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Start Date: ASAP.
Midday Meal Supervisor - Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children during lunch and playtimes, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Provide support for pupils with Autism, assisting them with lunchtime routines and transitions.
- Encourage positive interactions and support the development of social skills.
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a calm, nurturing atmosphere.
Midday Meal Supervisor - Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN or Autism, is desirable.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
- Commitment to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children in your care.
