We are currently looking to recruit a number of Mods Technicians to be based in North London for at least the next 12 months
Applicants should be Technically educated within an engineering discipline to NVQ Level 3, although those with experience and NVQ Level 2 can be considered subject to relevant experience
You will have at least 2 years hands on experience of working within a Technical Discipline such as ex-Military, Vehicles, Aircraft, Ground Support Equipment, Marine Vessels, HGV's, Buses, heavy mobile plant and/or light vehicles.
Working as part of a Team of approximately 25 Technicians and Supervisors, you will be trained to repair, service and maintain Class 700 Rolling Stock, based at the Depot in Hornsey
The Teams operate on a shift basis loosely based on 5 days on 5 off and 5 nights on, 5 off with opportunity for overtime which provides opportunity for greater than 50k pa annual earnings easily achieved.
The package comes with 34 days leave, plenty of onsite parking and an excellent, modern working environment.
Suitable/interested candidates will be expected to undertake a basic Mechanical and Electrical test plus short interview. If successful then all offers will be based on the successful passing of a Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test
