We are delighted to be working with a fantastic Food Manufacturing Business to assist with the recruitment of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers during what is an exciting period of growth.About The Role:* Shift pattern of 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights (6-6)* Repair various manufacturing equipment used for the production of FMCG products including conveying and distribution systems.* Carry out PPM's and Reactive maintenance.* Attending to machinery breakdowns.* Fault finding equipment - electrical and mechanical machinery.* Working closely with the Engineering Manager to assist with Projects and supporting the wider engineering team.About The Candidate:* Maintenance Engineer experience in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.* Applicants should have suitable training and experience in the food and drink industry.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.* Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, whilst maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.* Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.* Experience of using CMMS or EAM systems.* Proven experience in driving through continuous improvement activities.* Working to British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards with regard to Hygiene and Cleanliness standards would be advantageous but not essential.We are looking for a enthusiastic self-motivated team players with a can do attitude who will have the following responsibilities:* Undertake a programme of Planned Preventative Maintenance and Condition Based Monitoring for key equipment & machinery across the manufacturing areas, to ensure that machinery & equipment is maintained correctly and operates safely and as efficiently as possible.* Actively support and encourage a programme of TPM and assist with the training of colleagues in the relevant activities, in accordance with H&S and engineering legislative codes of practice policies and procedures.* Ensure accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences are dealt with in accordance with company standards.* Assist and train Machine Operators to ensure continuous improvement.* Ensure Data quantity and quality via the use of the engineering EAM system* Update daily activity reports.* Analyse system, lines and product performance.You will receive:* Competitive salary + overtime* Holiday entitlement increasing year on year and pension.* Life insurance (3x salary)* Opportunities for career growth within a reputable and well-established business.This will involve working on a rotating shift pattern covering days and nights.The first stage of the application process is to apply online.
