We have an opportunity for a Multi Trade Carpenter to join a housing estate team for a local council in North Kensington, West London.
This is a static role so no van and fuel card will be provided, as all properties are within walking distance.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a wide range of responsive repairs and maintenance duties in tenanted and void properties including, but not limited to, hanging doors and frames, fitting kitchens, structural flooring and finishes, dry lining, fitting and replacing locks, fitting baths and basins, tiling, painting and decorating, etc.
- Using PDA equipment competently to record works carried out in real time and ensuring all works are carried out safely in accordance with code of conduct.
- Offering an excellent level of customer service - being respectful, positive, polite, on time and listening to the needs of residents.
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness at all times by the use of dust sheets and/or boot covers and leaving properties in a clean, compliant and safe condition.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
- Enhanced Criminal Record Check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
