HIDE- Night Baker
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Night Baker to join the team at Michelin* HIDE.
HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight.
Spread over three floors, two light-filled dining rooms are set around a breath-taking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park
Servingbreakfast, lunch & dinner, a sizeable a la carte menu
showcases the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network
ofsmall farmers &suppliers from acrossthe UK. A tasting menu with matching wine flights is also available on both floors.
Everything is made in-house wherever possible: fromcharcuterie & breadto jams,
juices and pickles.
Our bread basket changes every three months our current basket is listed below.
Olive & rosemary focaccia;
Pepperoni & blue cheese brioche rolls; Wild farmed malted baguette;
Black sesame & shitake sourdough; Dukkha & London honey cracker
A night Baker needs to have a good understanding of Viennoiserie and Laminating products and be able to work in an open plan bakery five nights a week.
Night shifts are 10pm-8am, as we are a 24/7 production shifts patterns can be flexible for the right candidate.
As a Night Baker, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing, cooking & presenting dishes within the Bakery department
- Leading on a section of the kitchen
- Supporting the sous chefs & head chef to develop new dishes for the menu;
- Training the junior chefs working with you
- Following H&S regulations
- Demonstrating a respectful attitude & responding respectfully to management.
