We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced NMP within CAMHS ADHD to join our client on a locum basis for up to 4 days per week, for a hybrid working role.The post-holder will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team delivering ADHD diagnostics, ongoing treatment and therapeutic services.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assess, diagnose, plan; implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients. Working with the family to create safe and effective treatment plans to achieve stability of symptoms.
  • Complete appointments for the initiation and titration of ADHD medication and make independent prescribing decisions for service users.
  • Monitoring treatment effectiveness and side effects and initiating prescribing changes and maintaining excellent standards of patient care.
  • Working alongside a team of Consultants and other clinicians to discuss and suggest treatment plans for complex patients.
Details:
  • Qualified pharmacist with currentGPhCregistration and twoyearsspost qualification experience OR First level registered nurse with a current PIN AND three years post qualification experience
  • Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber
  • At least one years relevant and recent experience of working within neurodevelopmental services
  • Sound and demonstrable knowledge of neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions.
