Our clients nursery are a dedicated and passionate nursery offering childcare to children between the ages of 0 and 5. Offering all children equal opportunities with regard to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background; in particular, challenging situations where racism or discrimination is displayed, and creating a nurturing environment for all children.
THE ROLE:
The planning and preparation of activities, to meet children's individual needs, liaising with parents and negotiating working targets ensuring effective communication within the nursery.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working as part of a team.
- The care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.
- Keeping of development records and observations.
- Positive management of children's behaviour.
- Preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the playrooms and equipment.

SKILLS DEVELOPED WITHIN THE ROLE:
- Providing a good role model for Students and help new staff to fit into the nursery.
- Adhering to the Policies & Procedures of CMDN and compliance with the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation, EYFS and Montessori Method of teaching and within the guidelines of Ofsted.
- Giving feedback and holding meetings with Parents, for a working partnership with Parents.
Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:
To not already hold an Early Years qualification at level 3 or above
To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths
To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
