Nursery Practitioner

We are working with an independent childrens day nursery who are currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner for their nursery setting in Greenwich.

The successful candidate will need to hold a level 2/3, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months nursery setting experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the EYFS framework and key worker practices.

Position Details

Your role will include:

  • Supporting and extending childrens learning, development and educational outcomes
  • Organising and overseeing the planning, implementation and provision of activities
  • Carrying out observations and evaluations
  • Planning and providing next steps to support childrens development

What you will need:

  • A level 2 or level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioners qualification
  • Recent experience of working as Nursery Nurse or Nursery Assistant
  • An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
