Nursery Room Leader (1–2 Year Olds)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week across 4 days)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team and lead the 1–2 year old room, providing high-quality care and education to our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and delivery of a developmentally appropriate, engaging, and inclusive curriculum in line with the EYFS framework for children aged 1–2 years
Provide high standards of care, teaching, and learning in a supportive and stimulating environment
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of early years practitioners in the 1–2 year old room
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, working closely with parents and carers
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
Significant experience working with children aged 1–2 years in a nursery setting
Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, particularly in relation to the developmental needs of children in this age group
Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a small team
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
