The Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and care to nursery children. You will need to have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and be able to create engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that support the holistic development of each child.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes respect and encourages positive behaviour.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development and well-being.
  • Participate in nursery events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in an early years setting, preferably with nursery-aged children.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider nursery community.
