Our client, a well-established and reputable independentMontessori nursery based within close proximity to Angel station are currently seeking a full-time Third In Charge to join their expanding team.In 2020, OFSTED rated this nursery as 'Good' in quality of teaching, learning and assessments and outcomes for children.

The Role:You have the very important task of supervising and mentoring a passionate team, implementing and overseeing policies and procedures and ensuring outstanding standards throughout the setting. You will work closely with the Manager as part of the senior management team hence you must have a minimum level 3 Early Years qualification and previous experience in a supervisory capacity.

Details about the role:

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures to an above average/outstanding standard
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff, all the time
  • Promote an outstanding standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Ensure appropriate planning and assessment is in place and is accurately maintained by the appropriate staff and regularly evaluated and evidenced
  • Support the development of good practice in relation to special educational needs and inclusion
  • Provide leadership and support to all nursery staff to enable them to establish and maintain professional positive working relationships with both colleagues, parents and carers
  • Deploy staff effectively to ensure the required standards are maintained
  • Full time position (40 hours a week)
