You will have:

  • Experience as a Deputy Manager in a Residential Children's Home
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Residential Children's Homes
  • Experience in developing and mentoring staff teams.
  • Excellent communication, and organisational skills.
  • Valid & Clear UK Driving Licence

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in compliance with policies, procedures, and Ofsted regulations.
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager when needed.
  • Safeguard and promote young people's welfare, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive environment and assist with admissions in line with care plans.
  • Develop relationships with parents, social workers, and professionals.
  • Balance managerial duties with hands-on care, leading shifts and maintaining confidentiality.

  • EBD, solo provision. Currently rated 'Good' with Ofsted
