A prestigious, award-winning day case plastic surgery hospital in central London is seeking a registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to lead our exceptional team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide outstanding leadership and clinical expertise in a state-of-the-art facility specialising in cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.
As an experienced ODP, you will:
- Manage and mentor a skilled team of ODPs
- Ensure delivery of exceptional patient-centred care
- Oversee operations across three main clinical areas: anaesthetics, surgery, and recovery
- Collaborate with world-class plastic surgeons and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to continuous improvement of surgical standards and patient outcomes
You will need:
- Current ODP registration (HCPC) with extensive clinical experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Expertise in day case surgery using TIVA
- Commitment to professionalism and best clinical practices
- Ability to work flexibly across various specialties, including cosmetic and podiatry surgeries
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in cosmetic and aesthetic surgical procedures
- Background in scrub and anaesthetic roles
