OPERATING DEPARTMENT PRACTITIONERCentral London (close to multiple transport links)Permanent, site based, full-time (40 hours per week)Shifts: Variable, including some weekends (no overnight shifts)

A prestigious, award-winning day case plastic surgery hospital in central London is seeking a registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to lead our exceptional team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide outstanding leadership and clinical expertise in a state-of-the-art facility specialising in cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.

As an experienced ODP, you will:

  • Manage and mentor a skilled team of ODPs
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional patient-centred care
  • Oversee operations across three main clinical areas: anaesthetics, surgery, and recovery
  • Collaborate with world-class plastic surgeons and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of surgical standards and patient outcomes

You will need:

  • Current ODP registration (HCPC) with extensive clinical experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in day case surgery using TIVA
  • Commitment to professionalism and best clinical practices
  • Ability to work flexibly across various specialties, including cosmetic and podiatry surgeries

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in cosmetic and aesthetic surgical procedures
  • Background in scrub and anaesthetic roles
