Operations Lead | Scaling Health & Wellness Technology Brand | London (Hybrid)
The Client:
Harmonic is super excited to be working exclusively with one of the fastest growing Health and Wellness Technology Brand in the UK who are looking for their first operations lead to help scale the business.
Scaling rapidly, this business has seen recent turnover of £6m with plans to scale and reach 8 figures next year. Within just one year the business has grown 600% and has backing from Google and got featured on Dragons Den.
This brand has exploded onto the UK scaleup scene setting out to help people feel and perform better with their advanced recovery products. Their mission is to make recovery a third dimension of fitness and training, and to help people avoid injury and improve their performance. This D2C ecommerce business has a global customer base including the US and Asia.
This role is tailored for candidates who enjoy working with autonomy and who are passionate about the dynamic nature of working in an SME, characterised by rapid evolution and growth. They are seeking an operations lead who is high performing, ambitious and is excited by the prospect of working in one of the fastest growing companies in the UK.
The Duties:
* Effectively manage end-to-end supply chain to ensure the company is effectively managing demand and supply, forecasting, production planning, stock managements and procurements.
* Oversee the company's operations function to ensure all systems, processes and controls are fit for purpose and assist with projected growth.
* Work directly with the founder to develop both short-term and long-term operational strategies.
* Manage the different 3PLs and outsourced facilities to ensure that relationship management is strong and constantly looking to be efficient with deals and best practice to ensure the companies goals are met.
* Oversee the customer experience team in order to ensure best practices are being met.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve resource allocation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to track shipments and resolve any issues.
* Represent the organisation externally, participating in investor relations activities, industry events, and strategic partnerships to enhance the organisations visibility and reputation.
What our client would like to see (Essential Experience):
* 3+ years within an operations position.
* Experience working with a challenger fast-growth company who has gone through a scaling period.
* Worked within a D2C Ecommerce brand.
* Experience in leading teams within a high-growth environment.
* Enjoys being hands on.
* Strong relationship management skills.
What our client would like to see (Non-Essential Experience):
* Worked with the Health and Wellness industry.
