We are currently looking for an Optical Assistant to join a leading high street practice based in Walworth Road, London.

Optical Assistant - Role

  • Busy practice with a loyal patient base
  • Team of 6-7 people
  • Access to high quality lenses - Zeiss, Hoya, Norville
  • Focus on high levels of customer care
  • Fantastic opportunity to progress - DO Course, management
  • Close relationships with 2 local Hospitals
  • Supportive Directors who appreciate and support their team
  • Full or part time position
  • 9am - 5:30pm
  • No Sundays
  • Salary between £22,000 to £25,000
  • 30 days holiday including bank holidays

Optical Assistant - Requirements

  • Previous experience working within optics
  • They can also support a Student DO as well
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about offering great service
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
  • Be able to listen and acknowledge requirements
  • Strong team player
