Job Summary:

The Overseas Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the company's presence in international markets. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with overseas clients, managing international distributors, and meeting revenue targets. The ideal candidate is a skilled sales professional with a strong understanding of international market dynamics, cultural differences, and business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research & Expansion:

Conduct market analysis to identify potential sales opportunities in targeted overseas regions.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to specific international markets.

Stay informed about global market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Sustained profitability of existing business in the UK

Continue to expand and seek profitable brands in cooperate with existing business in the UK

Increase the efficacity of communication between UK branch and Manufacture in China

Seeking trading opportunities

  1. Sales & Business Development:

Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with international clients and partners.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key overseas accounts, distributors, and business partners.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring mutual benefits and compliance with company policies.

Develop new markets, expand client portfolios, and drive business growth.

  1. Sales Performance & Target Achievement:

Set and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for designated international markets.

Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless execution of international sales strategies.

  1. Client & Distributor Management:

Manage relationships with existing international clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

Collaborate with local distributors to optimize sales performance and market penetration.

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

  1. Cross-Functional Coordination:

Coordinate with marketing, product, and logistics teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and delivery timelines.

Provide feedback from international markets to the product development team for continuous improvement.

  1. Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with international trade laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

Address challenges related to currency exchange, tariffs, and logistics in different regions.

Minimize risks by understanding and navigating regional political and economic environments.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field. A masters degree is an advantage.
  1. Experience:

5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years focused on international or overseas markets.

Experience managing overseas distributors, agents, or partners.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in international markets.

  1. Skills & Abilities:

Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to understand and adapt to diverse cultural and business practices.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.

Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Ability to travel frequently and work across different time zones.
