Parking Permit Officer

Tower Hamlets

£19 per hour (umbrella)

Full Time Contract (4 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Parking Permit Officer in Tower Hamlets. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

  • To be responsible for correctly processing applications for parking permits submitted by post and via the Web
  • To be responsible for providing sound specialist advice on any aspect of the organisation's parking permit schemes to Members, senior managers, customers and colleagues
  • To undertake all aspects of permit administration, assessing and processing permit applications and taking decisions on their validity, exercising discretion where necessary
  • To be responsible for accurately receipting payments, dealing with payment enquiries, reconciling and balancing at the end of the day and ensuring all financial procedures relating to permit issue and payments are adhered to
  • To contribute to the overall development of Parking & Mobility Services within the organisation

The candidate:

  • Previous experience working with parking permits is essential
  • Administrative expeirence is essential
  • Previous experience working for local authorities is desirable
