Description
Key duties for the Part Time Qualified Accountant ole are as follows:
- Manage financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- There will be a large focus on VAT moving forward with this role
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
- Assist with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
Profile
A successful Part Time School Accountant should have:
- Fully obtained an accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- MUST HAVE Schools experience
- Be on site 3 days a week
- VAT experience
- Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum, pro-rata.
