We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fibre Optic Engineer to join our team on an ad-hoc, part time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fibre optic networks across various sites in London. This role requires flexibility, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of network performance.

Day to Day:

  • Install, splice, and terminate fibre optic cables to industry standards.

  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of fibre optic networks to ensure optimal performance.

  • Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on fibre networks, implementing effective solutions promptly.

  • Maintain accurate records of installations, tests, and maintenance activities.

  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fibre Optic Engineer, with a strong understanding of fibre optic networks and splicing techniques.

  • Possession of a valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle, with a willingness to travel to various sites around London.

  • Ownership of personal fibre optic testing equipment and tools.
